Greetings!
We hope our Autumn Edition of Fe-mail finds you all well. It seems hard to believe that the summer has now drawn to a close. Here in south-western Ontario the leaves are turning crimson and the nights are getting cooler. With only a few months left in 2009, we know that many of you are already planning your 2010 travel adventures.
We've had a great response to our pre-registration list for the 2010 trips and we expect 2010 to be our best year ever! (thank you so much for your support!)

Women who take two vacations a year are 50 per cent less likely to develop heart disease than those who vacation rarely or not at all.
According to Dr Kathleen Hall, founder of The Stress Institute, stress is an epidemic of the 21st century. Dr Hall states that, women who take two vacations a year are 50 per cent less likely to develop heart disease than those who vacation rarely or not at all.
Data collected by American Express indicates that 86% of women polled believe that the ability to relax and recharge are among the best things about "girl's getaways." More than two-thirds (68%) of women highlighted the benefits of not having to "take care of anyone else" during an all-women trip. As an added perk to getting away, 54% of women reported feeling more appreciated by their mates once back at home.
Over the years we've seen women travelling with Broad Horizons for very different reasons. For some, the tranquility of travelling independently is a welcome change from the hectic pace of a summer holiday where mom is responsible for the initial planning and packing to keeping track of everyone's belongings throughout the vacation. For women living alone, the friendship and camaraderie that takes place on an all women's tour can enrich us all in a way that could not have been achieved alone. In fact many women consider their girl's getaway to be the highlight of their year.
