peru lima flowersVisit the City of Kings......

Known as the City of Kings, Peru's capital city is Lima. Limeņos (Lima's residents) are friendly, and the city is filled with important historical sites, quality museums, and variety of dining and entertainment establishments make Lima a very interesting place to visit.

During our time in Lima we have an exciting culinary tour planned. Together we'll visit the market to learn about the local fruits, vegetables and fish before returning to a local restaurant for Peruvian cooking demonstrations. We'll then enjoy taste testing and a typical Peruvian lunch.

A "MUST -SEE" ............ Machu Picchu

One of the "New 7 Wonders of the World"

Tulips and Windmills

Although it's one of the most well-known archaeological wonders of the world, Machu Picchu still holds plenty of secrets and is a must-see destination on any Peru trip.

Machu Picchu, the hidden city of the Incas, tops most every list of the world's greatest man-made wonders.

Machu Picchu, the dreamlike lost city...

The "Old Peak" guarding the skyline above the Sacred Valley is not just an archaeological site. It's much more. Spectacular unique views of the beautiful Andes, surrounding the region, of the Urubamba Jungle below...
Often, the nearby mountains are "swimming" in clouds, partially covered by myst, adding more to the mystery and the beauty of the ancient Inca city...

Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda once wrote:

"Machu Picchu is a trip to the serenity of the soul, to eternal fusion with the cosmos, there we feel our own fragility. It is one of the greatest marvels of South America. A resting place of butterflies at the epicenter of the great circle of life. Another miracle."

The place is special indeed, only those who have wandered on top of the mountain can experience the unique feelings generated by the beautiful view. Setting your foot into Machu Picchu can be a dreamlike trip back into the past...

Imagine YOURSELF in the breathtaking splendor of the Andes, it is the most awe-inspiring destination in South America!

"Machu Picchu is the most wonderful place you can ever go.... It takes your breath away!"
Marolyn Merrell from UNITED STATES, 28-AUG-2008
