On January 15, 1997, Second Wind DreamsŪ became the first organization to make dreams come true for elders living in nursing homes and assisted living communities. It was started in the Atlanta metro area and has grown to include much of the United States, Canada and India. In a short 13 years thousands of dreams have become reality thanks to the hard work of many volunteers, nursing home staff, Second Wind Dreams' staff and one incredible person, PK Beville, the founder of this life changing organization. Because of her vision, multiple lives have been touched and improved and the negative perception of aging, has been changed in many communities!
At Second Wind DreamsŪ we know our work is not done - we have only just begun to scratch the surface.
