Are Grocery Stores Shrinking?  In an industry that has long declared "bigger is better," many supermarkets are opening increasingly smaller stores. The New York Times reports that Safeway has already opened a smaller store in California and Whole Foods and Wal-Mart are contemplating doing the same. Lock In Home Heating Oil Rates 
Before the price of oil rebounds to the highs seen this summer, talk to your heating oil provider to lock in a rate for the winter. Securing a rate early can help save lots of money if the price of oil goes up over the course of the next few months ."It's certainly the lowest we've seen in a few months time," Michael Ferrante, president of the Massachusetts Oilheat Council says about the price of home heating oil.
