On Saturday, March 20th, Unity on the Bay's Angels Everywhere Outreach program will again be hosting Unity in the Community: Support for Everyday Challenges. We will bring together a wide variety of resources in the 2nd annual one-day free community resource fair to address the wide range of issues affecting our community in today's challenging economy.
Services will be directed at issues ranging from unemployment and immigration, to proactively managing health issues and of course, financial services support.
Along with all this information, there will be a Thrift Store sponsored by the
Prosperity Council , and open to the community. For information about supporting the Thrift Store with goods, please contact prosperity@unityonthebay.org

4T - Soaring to a New You! |

Kick off the new year with a consciousness of abundance and prosperity in all areas of your life. Today, Tuesday, January 12th kicks of our 4T Prosperity Program for 2010!
The 4T Program is a spiritual program dedicated to the idea of living an abundant life. As thousands that have gone through our program know, when the 4T connection is made, wondrous events occur - people exprience a deeper spiritual awareness, enhanced relationships, job satisfaction, financial security, improved self-esteem, and better health.
Through the course, a powerful support system is put in place. You are given the tools to change and expand your consciousness. You change your mind, and you change your life!

This class runs 12 weeks thru March 30, 2010
The 4T Program is based on tithing.

The Prosperity Council is teaming with Unity Churches International to bring you The Power of Prosperity - monthly thoughts for reflection on prosperity, along with ideas for practices you can use to build your own consciousness. They are intended to enhance our spirituality and to raise our awareness of our own prosperity.
The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity - Chapter 1

As we begin a new year we have the awesome opportunity to make a fresh start. We're doing it with a study of Catherine Ponder's The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity.
You might have made some new year's resolutions about changes you want in your life. If you've been considering changing your thinking around prosperity, Catherine Ponder tells us: "While prosperous thinking means many things to people, basically it gives you the power to make your dreams come true, whether those dreams are concerned with better health, increased financial success, a happier personal life, more education and travel, or a deeper spiritual life."
Yes, as a truth student you must acknowledge to yourself that you have all the power. Power that no one can take from you. You, and only you, can give it away. This is often what we do. We give the news the power to create our finances, someone else's bad mood to create our day or someone's opinion to define us. In reality, it is up to us.
In Chapter One, Catherine points out the surprising truth that poverty is a sin. Sin, in Unity's terms, is defined as falling short of the mark. We can also change our "shortfall" by changing our thinking and thus, our actions. It is our divine heritage to be prosperous and successful in all that we do. ... The Power of Prosperity - Practice Exercises |

In meditation, relax your mind and your body and ponder prosperity. Ask yourself:
1. What does prosperity mean to me?
2. Am I willing to be prosperous?
3. What would I have to let go of for that to be true?
4. Am I willing to let go of old beliefs about poverty being a virtue?
5. How can I hold a prosperous thought through to manifestation?
6. How can I express and feel gratitude before I see prosperity in the physical?
Allow your self a few minutes with each question. What comes up for you? How do you feel? When you bring yourself back, bring out your journal and write down what came up for you. Make note of what you might need to give extra attention to. And, if so inspired, join us for our 4T Program, Soaring to a New You! We will be addressing many of these same concepts. |
