Designing with perennials is exciting and rewarding.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of this dynamic process, step-by-step...from bed layout to calculating spacing and number of plants, to lacing the first plants, all the way through the finished garden.  This talk will show the how-to of design.  Effective combinations of perennials with woody plants and annuals will be discussed in a variety of garden situations.  Optional lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for $10 per person.  At the end of the class, you will take home a $10.00 gift certificate good toward your purchase of live plants from Baker's as well as informative handouts.  See registration details below.  The first 10 people to register will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate from Baker's.  It will be presented on the day of the class.
