The Adult L.E.A.D. class learned about the diverse Education and Workforce Development opportunities that the Independence Community has to offer. MCC-Blue River, Fort Osage Career & Technology Center and The Corner Spot were a few places the group visited.

The Independence Chamber of Commerce and members welcomed TNC Community with a ribbon cutting. TNC Community provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities from its six group homes and three Individual Supported Living (ISL) locations.
