Halloween Parade

The 63rd Annual Halloween Parade was a great success. The community took advantage of the beautiful weather, over 6,000 spectators and over 100 entries participated in the event. The Adult L.E.A.D. class took a trip down memory lane learning about Independence's unique history. After their leadership training exercises, the L.E.A.D. class visited some of Independence's historical sites. After a long day of history, the class hit the bowling alley for some social time.
