The latest events in Pakistan which led to the finding and consequent death of Osama bin Laden have brought about many questions and reactions throughout the world. Among the less political ones, what is the correct spelling of this man's name?  

 

Despite the fact that he was clearly famous as a result of his title - number one most wanted international terrorist  - the spelling of his name has caused a great deal of confusion.

A translation error suggesting Catholic couples are allowed to use contraception recently forced an Italian publisher to temporarily withdraw a new book aimed at young Catholics. The Vatican was for obvious reasons extremely embarrassed by the mistake and asked the publisher to immediately correct it.
