Biotech News: Opportunity Returns to Turkey

turkey research opps Following a severe economic crisis in 2001,
"Turkey has demonstrated remarkable progress,"
according to a 2010 report from the United Nations
Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
In fact, Turkey now ranks 20th among the largest
world economies. In addition, because it has one
of the youngest populations in the world, Turkey
is becoming an important emerging market for
pharmaceutical products. This, along with recent
economic growth, has brought about a boom in the country's R&D sector.
