Google Me vs Facebook
Google, founded in 1998, is currently the world's most popular search engine. Its mission has been to organize the world's information and tailor it to individual needs. However, Google faces serious competition from Facebook and Twitter, since sharing information means less activity on the open net - Google's main playing field. This past fall, Google's chief executive Eric Schmidt unveiled a social network feature called "Google Me".

By December 25, 2010, new orthographic rules in the Spanish language will be ensued. These changes were initiated by the Royal Spanish Academy in order to simplify and unify the Spanish language which is spoken by more than 330 million people worldwide. However, these new rules have not been easily accepted by all Spanish speakers. Especially in  Latin America, scholars have  indicated that they intend to resist what they feel is a linguistic 'dictatorship'.

Nazaryan is a photojournalist who has been documenting the conflicted Thailand-Burma border over the past three years. Escalating civil war in Burma, along with abysmal poverty, has caused a humanitarian and refugee crisis here. "Health care and education are largely unavailable for thousands of Burmese villagers and refugees on both sides of the border," writes Arthur. His current project, Between the Border, is a charity initiative to photograph the schools, orphanages, and medical clinics most in need of support.
