Clinical Trials in South Korea
  The pharmaceutical industry has turned to outsourcing clinical research to emerging markets to help reduce drug development costs. Several new Asian markets have emerged as promising clinical trial locations because they do not have the problems associated with clinical research in more established regions. Along with greater market opportunity, South Korea's strong infrastructure, highly trained clinical research personnel, and increased western collaboration have played a significant role in the country's growth in outsourced clinical trials.

Biologics Manufacturing in India
  Offshoring biologics manufacturing trends in India have taken a new route, as a result of the demand for increased biologic production at lower costs, emphasizing greater collaboration with Western companies. Several challenges associated with offshoring biologics manufacturing to India remain, including regulatory issues, inadequate IP protection, and barriers associated with the many regional languages and cultures in the country.

 A note from company president, Leo Galperin:
       "Earlier in June, I had the opportunity to attend the 46th Drug Information Association Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. At the meeting, I delivered a poster presentation to fellow attendees entitled "Addressing Linguistic and Cultural Barriers in Global Clinical Trials", which discussed the critical
importance of localization and high quality language services when working in the Biotech and Life Science Industries. The meeting had an impressive turnout, and provided a great setting and opportunity to meet individuals who expressed their own thoughts about the topic, as well as their translation or interpreting needs. I welcome any further questions or comments about my experience at the DIA meeting, both from those who were also in attendance, and from those who would like to learn more about the meeting and our company..."
