JFM RAPHA MEDICAL CLINIC UPDATE:
|
Just 3 days after Christmas this tent will be filled with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, prayer warriors, and evangelists.
Now this is how God works... As Pastor Sherry led the discussion and we were pondering
over the "medication needs" list, one of the doctors placed a call to the Minister of Health for the Nyeri District. He "JUST
HAPPENED" to be in the area and said he would drop by our meeting!!! He was just coming from the last day of another medical camp
and told us we could have all the medications left from that camp!
We have been given thousands of de-wormers, something very necessary here
in Kenya. The Minister of Health also gave our health
clinics a permanent STAMP OF APPROVAL and gave permission to have one of Kenya's H.I.V. Nurse/Counselors and her H.I.V. testing and counseling clinic accompany our JFM "Rapha"
Health Clinics!!! God provides many medications- FREEThe miracle of the provided medications reminds us of the miracle of the loaves of bread and fishes that Jesus multiplied. Matthew 14:15-21 (follow link) So we are looking up to heaven and giving thanks for the 1000's of doses of medication!
Mike and Ezra are building the clinic's exam room walls.
Our brother David enjoyed using a power tool for the first time.

DISCIPLESHIP IS AT THE HEART
OF JESUS
In March 2009 we had a dream of creating a discipleship manual to use in KENYA.
The dream became a reality and now 40 Kenyans are attending the 12 week course and will soon be ready to disciple others!

AS YOU GIVE AT CHRISTMAS...
WOULD YOU CONSIDER HELPING ONE OF THE KENYA KIDS ?
December's Featured Kenya Kid:
THOMAS NJIRI
Njiri's mother became sick and died when he was only 3 years old. He was left to wander the streets of Kitenge to look for food. He was rescued when he was 5, rehabilitated and sent to the Nyeri Kenya Kids Home when he was 10.
Pastor Wachira and Margaret became his "parents" and the other
orphans became his "siblings." Njiri
accepted Jesus after he arrived, and he is now a dedicated worker in the church,
running the sound equipment and always helping.
We would love to be able to tell Thomas that someone in America is going help pay for his much-desired eduction. As you give at Christmas would you consider "adopting" Thomas in your HEART?
