Mike's Dad, Gene Freese, is doing great.
He was released from the hospital and
doesn't have to report back until July!

The "Apologetics as Applied to Islam" class has been so informative... if you would like more information about this class, please reply to this newsletter.
According to the World Book Encyclopedia, Islam is the largest religion in Africa, followed by Christianity. Most Muslims have never heard that Jesus died to give them eternal life.
We are rejoicing that Kenya's Prime Minister Raila Odinga has received Jesus as his Savior and has been baptized.
Pastor Wachira was able to meet with Kenya's Vice President Kalonzo. Pastor Wachira has taken the message of Proverbs 28:2 around the country "When the country is in chaos, everybody has a plan to fix it - But it takes a leader of real understanding to straighten things out." (The Message)

A Psalm of David.They will not be ashamed in the time of evil; And in the days of famine they will have abundance.
The Pump house and the well have made it possible for all these beautiful crops to grow in this time of famine.
Pastor Wachira Wrote: "Behold the fruit of the land. You can now see the produce in the Chaka farm, and thank God and the brethren who support our JFM for the poor can be fed now." Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!

~ Children's Evangelism Tent ~
We are so thankful to the Lord for the Awesome 2,000 person tent we have for Evangelism in Kenya.
We are seeing towns changed and souls coming to Jesus like our meeting in Kiandai, Kenya in November 2008.
We are now believing for a smaller 350 person tent to use for Children's ministry during these outreaches.
The 350 person tent would also be used for smaller outreach meetings in less populated areas.
"Someone is selling a 350 seat tent with all its metal poles. When we are out there for big works it will be an answer to our alongside ministry such as intercesory prayer or children's ministry. Sometimes it can be used for smaller works like seminars or special group outreach programmes. In faith I have put down a $250 deposit. May God's will be done!"

 PRAYER NEEDS:
Kenya & Pastor Wachira - Continue to pray for Kenya. It is getting better but they are experiencing famine and government instability.
Mike and Cheryl - We concur with Paul's request in Ephesians 6:19 "and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,"
Childrens Tent - To be purchased
High School & Clinic Projects - To be completed
Mission Teams- That are forming for trips in the Fall of 2009 and summer 2010.
"With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints," ~ Ephesians 6:18
