 PRAISE REPORTS from Mike & Cheryl
Before leaving Kenya we were able to present Pastor Wachira with school supplies donated from the U.S.
This month our son Mark arrived safely from Iraq for his sister's wedding. He is now headed back to his post.
Thanks to ALL our military personnel!
 Our daughter Adelle and Josh's wedding on April 25th was a beautiful event. We returned to the states especially for this special day.(Pictured here with Grandparents Art and B Price)

~ Glasses For Kenyans ~ Girl's Prayer Answered
February 8, 2009 we passed out reading glasses to 14 people who couldn't see to read the Bible.
Pastor Sherry & Ezra felt a burden to help those who couldn't afford glasses.
We had just enough for the 14 people who came forward. Each person was so excited to be able to read again!
This young girl told us that just two days before receiving the glasses she felt God assure her that He was sending them.
PRAISE GOD- HE KNOWS WHAT WE NEED AND HE IS ALWAYS WORKING ON OUR BEHALF. |

March was the 60th Anniversary of Boys & Girls Missions Council.
Valle Vista Assembly Children's Pastor Becca Helms invited Mike and Cheryl to share about Jesus Frees Missions work.
The children learned where Kenya is located on the African Continent.
They learned a song in Swahili and danced like kids do in the Kenyan churches.
Cheryl was asked to share with Krystal Corona's Missionettes Class. The girls had many questions about Africa.
The girls prayed that Cheryl and Mike would have success, safety and see many souls saved in Kenya.
JESUS SAID, "UNLESS YOU BECOME LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN YOU CANNOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN." Matthew 18:3 |

Mike and Cheryl also had two awesome times of Ministry with the Women of VVAG. Women were healed, empowered and saved. Debbie Cornish and JFM Board member Jan Reichardt helped lead in praise and worship.

 PRAYER NEEDS:
Kenya & Pastor Wachira - Kenya is in the midst of troubled times. They are experiencing famine, government instability coupled with torment and killings by the Mungiki Gang. Pastor Wachira was on Kenya television at the beginning of the week pleading, along with other bishops, to be allowed to lead the country in the ways of the Lord.
Pastor Wachira is scheduled to meet with President Kibaki in the next few days. He is asking for continual prayer.
Please join us in prayer that the horrific acts of the Mungiki gang will be stopped and these young men will be saved and set free by receiving Jesus Christ into their lives. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
Mike's Dad - Healing for Gene Freese who has been in and out of the hospital this month.
Class on Apologetics to Islam - Apologetics comes from the greek word apologia - to make a defense for what one believes to be true. While in the U.S. Cheryl & Mike are attending a 10 week course on Apologetics to Islam, the Muslim religion. When they return to Kenya their desire is to lead Muslims to the Truth of Jesus Christ.
High School & Clinic Projects - Favor for grants and donations to complete the Chaka High School and Medical Clinic
Mission Teams- are forming for trips in the Fall of 2009
