Team USA 2008 made it safely home and Ezra Cox was given a "Clean Bill of Health"! Praise God!
The team was a tremendous blessing to Pastor Wachira and Margaret and the people of Nyeri, Kenya. JFM would like to thank Ezra, Pastor Sherry and Elisha Cox, Larry Segrist and Jessie Chalfant for their selfless service. While in Kenya they were able to meet and pray with Mayor I.M. Mathenge of Nanyuki.
God touched Cheryl's mom, B Price, and she is recovering nicely. Thanks for your prayers. After almost 2 months of caring for her Mom, Cheryl was able to join Mike in Kenya on Thanksgiving Day and they were both Thankful!
The money needed to begin pumping water at the High School Site came in right on time and the first water give away was Saturday, November 29th. It is summer here in Kenya and the seasonal creek that provides water to the area isn't producing. Small children, teens and women came running with various sizes of containers to receive water. It was so precious to see the excitement in their eyes.
We are thankful to Pastor Randy and Nancy Jones and the congregation of Valle Vista Assembly of God in Hemet, California for contributing funds for new tires for the JFM Toyota Land Cruiser. These Kenya roads are very rough and for the last several weeks we haven't had a spare tire. God Bless You All for your help!
The Tent Meeting in Kiandai, Pastor Wachira's home town, grew steadily in attendance until the crowd was so large that the sides of the Tent had to be removed! Many souls accepted Jesus as their personal Savior and on the last day of the meeting everyone who came forward for healing received a miracle. One of the healings was a little toddler who was born without tear ducts. The child was brought forward for prayer and that night he began shedding tears for the first time in his life! All Glory to the God Who is Love!
The book of Acts is all about the Holy Spirit making individuals into a living organism called The Church. It is remarkable to see what happens when we all work together. That's our mission at JESUS FREES MINISTRIES ~ TEAMING PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TO REACH THE WORLD WITH THE FREEING POWER OF JESUS CHRIST. |
