People who live near jungles or in tropical regions have witnessed the phenomenon of ants on the march-a long convoy of hundreds of thousands of ants snaking across the terrain. Compare that sight to a solitary ant crawling across the jungle floor or trying to defend its colony alone. It's easy to be discouraged about the prospects of one person making a difference.
A team can accomplish so much more... The Scriptures say, "If one can put 1000 to flight, 2 can put 10,000 to flight." We want to thank YOU, the JFM Team members, who have joined us to reach the world. May God Bless you for helping the less fortunate. |
| Nanyuki Tent Meeting Report |

The Team completed the tent meeting in Nanyuki. They were tired, but very happy. It was a great meeting.
Many people accepted Jesus as their Personal Savior. Many were SET FREE from the chains of sin and many were healed of sickness.
All Glory and Praise to God!
Oh, the wonderful worship--singing and dancing--in Africa!!
It is so far beyong what you can imagine. "It is like worship in heaven, we think!!"
 Here Mike is pictured with a new convert from the Tent meeting.
David the shop owner who was saved last year came to the Meeting and shared with Mike that he has been telling everyone about Jesus and many have become Christians.
David is now an elder in his church. Praise God!
October 19th at the Nyeri Church, was "Child Dedication Day".
Pastor Sherry preached in both services then dedicated 17 little ones!
It was beautiful!
Elisha, a team member, stood before the congregation of several hundred people in the Nyeri Church and brought them great joy as she quoted 2 full chapters from the New Testament. Elisha passionately conveyed the message written by the Apostle Paul.
It is our hope and Pastor Wachira's hope that this will encourage the young people in this church to begin memorizing the Word of God. Thank you, Elisha, for being obedient and prepared. |

 Team Member Larry Segrist, seen here painting the JFM home security gate, has endured pain and immobility from a neck injury for 34 years. One night while Pastor Wachira was preaching at the Tent Meeting, Larry felt the Lord heal his neck... he could move it with out pain!!!
The God who heals is our God!!!
 On October 23 Team Member Ezra Cox had all the symptoms and test results of a small heart attack and mild stroke. America joined Kenya in a prayer vigal while Ezra made the 4 hour trip to the main hospital in Nairobi. By the time Ezra left the hospital that night, all the test results were wonderfully clean!!! Praise God. Ezra is being monitored and preparations are being made for an early return to the States for follow up care.

| WELL AND GENERATOR

 We are on the way to getting the well pump and holding tanks. Today Pastor Wachira and I went to Nairobi to give the down payment and we are starting construction on the pump-house on Monday 11/3 the cost of it is $1,500.00 usd.
The cost of the well system is 1,026,895.80ksh (Kenya Shillings). The exchange rate is holding around 75 to 1. The cost of the well system is under $14,000.00 usd (US Dollars), this includes the generator. The Well budget has a short fall of $1,872 needed to complete the project and begin supplying water to this community.
The generator is costing $5,733.33 usd. The generator will be used for temporary power to opperate the well pump to fill the holding tanks. Then it will be used to power the sound system for the Evangelism Tent Meetings. The next Meeting begins in Kiandi in just two weeks.

Last month a cow was lost at the High School Site because of the lack of water. This month the answer is on the way. A family in Texas wants to help purchase a cow to replace the one that was lost.

Cheryl's Mom is doing so much better. Her sight is being restored, she is gaining strength everyday and blood work shows the disease has been arrested.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY for her recovery so that Cheryl will be able to join Mike in Kenya on Thanksgiving Day.
