Making the
Need Known
Our Goal is to raise $500,000 to supply power, a water system, class rooms, dormitories, a cafeteria and teachers quarters.
We have visted 11 churches and talked to countless individuals since returning to the U.S.A.
Ephesians 6 :18
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
At the Prayer Summit we met Pastor Dale and Lois Wells and were invited to speak at their church, Trinity PCG , in Springfield Missouri. The Lord met us all that night in a sweet and comforting way.

KENYA POST-ELECTION REPORT
In the book of Acts, the 1st Century Christians also suffered great persecution. THE RESULT: The church grew by astonishing proportions!
The Internally Displaced Persons: In all I have now received 10 pastors plus their families. They all number to 89 people. I have managed to place 6 of the pastors. In Nyeri I have planted 4 new churches.
On 17th Feb, Sunday the message was "Getting through to your Destiny" and 7 souls came to the Lord.
On 24th Feb, Sunday the message was Walls and Gates" and 2 souls came to the Lord. GLORY TO GOD! Thank you for helping the work in Kenya.

Salt And Light Church in Houston Texas
Pictured center Pastor Paul Akatsa and Guest speaker, Pastor Steve Mungai, from Nyeri, Kenya. His church is just down the road from the Jesus Frees Ministry Home. Steve Mungai "just happened " to be in Texas while we were there so we were able to fellowship with some American Kenyans!!!

The Prayer Summit in Springfield Missouri, with Dr. George Wood and Jim Cymbala, was a time of refreshing.
Ahwatukee AG in Phoenix, AZ
At the Prayer Summit we also met some "Fired Up Folks" from Pastor Paul and Beth Lavino's Church, Ahwatukee AG in Phoenix, AZ. They let us park our "USA home" at the church (and we were asked to share with Tom and Susan O'Connor's Prayer and Bible Study, where we met a team who has commited to pray for and support Jesus Frees Ministries. We believe they will be in Kenya soon!

We had an extended visit in Yuma, Arizona with dear friends, Pastor Rick and Darlis Sailors. (Pictured Lt )What a blessing Foothills AG was to JFM! We made new friends (Pictured Above) and the Women's Ministries and Sherry with Hands Extended donated beautiful handmade items and kitchen ware to take back to Kenya. We are so grateful to Marge for giving us a place to park!

Sherry and Ezra Cox joined us at Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, California to share their experience in Kenya. Doris Center and Verlie Benline (Pictured Left) sang a beautiful missions song, "Here I Am, Lord." Pastor Daryl and the MIDDAY ALIVE group faithfully prayed for us while we were in Kenya.

PROPHECY: KENYA TARGETED
God has used prophets throughout time. Elijah, Jeremiah, Ezra and John the Baptist proclaimed good and bad news. Kenya has been at the forefront of recent prophecy.
In 2006 David Wilkerson (Cross and the Switchblade & Teen Challenge) spoke of a Spiritually Powerful Kenya reaching the world for Jesus.
Dr Thomas Manton IV foretold of the political upheavel and subsequent violence and has also told of a Missionary Kenya, a Gospel sending nation.
Bill Click just recently said, "Immigrants will be increasingly more effective in establishing the church in the USA than those native born.
Jesus Frees Ministries also hears God saying that Kenya will be a great tool in His Harvest!

DEVOTION: JAMES CHAPTER 4
The reports tell us that tribal conflicts in Kenya are cooling and we praise God for that. In the books of James, Chapter 4 (Message Bible) we are asked, "Where do you think all these appalling wars and quarrels come from? Do you think they just happen? Think again. They come about because you want your own way, and fight for it deep inside yourselves. You lust for what you don't have and are willing to kill to get it."
Americans, for the most part, may not be killing people to get what we want, but we covet what we don't have. We desire more and more in our IRA's, bigger and better homes. We have become slaves to the Gross National Product discounting the 10th commandment: Thou shall not covet. (Ex 20:17)
Joni Eareckson Tada, a paraplegic and well known author prays, "Lord, there are many things I desire, but I really don't need. Help me to find satisfaction in You, for only then will I find real and lasting contentment."

I've just read your February 2008 Newsletter, and Praise God it's unspeakable! I'll distribute it to our Christian Union. I'm planning to go back to college tomorrow, things have cooled down but we need to continue praying.

David had questions about water baptism. We were able to answer his questions with scriptures from the Bible. The next week David came to Pastor Wachira's church and gave his life to Jesus. At the tent crusade he was baptized with the Holy Spirit. The next week he brought his wife, Mary and their children to church. The first week in March, Pastor Wachira baptized 28 in people water. David and Mary were among the 28. Glory to God!

We pray that you will continue to raise up the people in Kenya to serve you around the world. Thank you for giving Jesus Frees Ministries an opportunity to assist what You are doing! AMEN (so be it!) | |
