SILENT AUCTION GALA, THURSDAY, MARCH 13th. You've raced with them all year, but will you recognize your competitors in something other than lycra and spandex? It's time for TriBC's Annual Fund Raising Gala, THIS THURSDAY night, 450 Stanley Park Drive. Meet fellow triathletes, bid on fabulous items and help fund the future of our sport. Tickets are available ONLINE and at the door. Auction items include: Whistler overnight packages, aerohelmets, wetsuits, race entries - including sold out events, trisuits, a consult with our National Team Coach, podiatrist and physio sessions, sunglasses, authentic team race kits, training books, even painting services, and so much more! 2009 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING EVENTS: Looking to qualify for an age group spot for the 2009 World Olympic Distance Triathlon Championships? Look no further than Vancouver Island's Self Transendence Triathlon, August 3rd, or the Vancouver Triathlon, September 1st.
Perhaps you are more of the Run-Bike-Run variety, TriBC members can qualify for the World Duathlon Championships at the Crescent Beach Duathlon, taking place August 4th.
COACHING: COMP INTRO PART 2, MARCH 15/16: Take your coaching to a new level! Enrol in Part 2 of the NCCP's Competition Introduction course, March 15 & 16 (prerequisite: Comp Intro Part 1). This course will be run out of the St. Georges Private School in Vancouver.
COMMUNITY COACHING, KELOWNA, APRIL 19/20: Specifically developed for Club Leaders and Coaches, this two-day course encompasses sprint and long distance training. This course will fill, skip the wait list, register today!

With the kick-off of the annual UBC Triathlon, the racing season is officially upon us.
