2008 FUNDRAISING GALA, MARCH 13th: Mark your calendar, it's time to schmooze! Triathlon BC's Annual Fund Raising Gala is a month away. Taking place at the Vancouver Rowing Club, the Silent Auction Gala lets you meet fellow competitors, bid on fabulous items and help fund the future of our sport. Tickets are now available ONLINE!

RACE SERIES UPDATE: Race and WIN! Through a partnership with ATAC Sportswear and Cycles Devinci, all Series Finishers receive a commemorative Series garment and are entered to win Devinci's range-topping Leo TT3, valued at $8,500! Top Elite Series finishers also qualify to win a cash prize purse!
The Triathlon, Duathlon and Junior Series officially kicks off March 9th, with the UBC Triathlon & Duathlon.

COACHING: COMP INTRO PART 2, MARCH 15/16: Take your coaching to a new level! Enrol in Part 2 of the NCCP's Competition Introduction course, March 15 & 16 (prerequisite: Comp Intro Part 1). This course will be run out of the St. Georges Private School in Vancouver.
COMMUNITY COACHING, KELOWNA, APRIL 19/20: Specifically developed for Club Leaders and Coaches, this two-day course encompassing sprint and long distance training. This course will fill, skip the wait list, register today!

ITU VANCOUVER WORLD CHAMPS VOLUNTEER SEARCH: Be a part of the World Triathlon Championships without training! Volunteers are needed for pre-event set up, water stations, transition area, marshalling, athlete support services and start & finish line areas. SPRING BREAK TRAINING CAMPS: Are your kids interested in following the footsteps of Simon Whitfield and Kirsten Sweetland? TriBC IS HIRING: Triathlon BC is seeking energetic individuals to fill part-time Summer Events positions. The ideal candidate is a mature individual with previous sports experience, based either in the Okanagan or on Vancouver Island, and has access to a reliable vehicle. The successful individual will attend various Provincial events (April-September) as a TriBC representative, and may be called upon to assist the Executive Director/Board of Directors with various tasks for the Association.
This is a part-time position, involving primarily weekend work, with hours of work as determined by a predefined race schedule. For further details, please contact info@tribc.org.
