Job Of The Month: GWU Marvin Center
Tech Painting Company participated in the final phase of rehabbing of the George Washington University's Marvin Center garage. Tech was responsible for making sure the 224,000 square foot ceiling had a decorative, high-build protective coating, essential for this heavily used parking garage. In addition, all the sprinkler pipes were cleaned and repainted "safety red" per code. Tech Painting worked closely with all the contractors to ensure the job was completed on time. The new paint has transformed the garage into a brighter, safer environment for all GW students, faculty, and visitors.

Tnemec: "Cement" Spelled Backwards!
Tnemec Logo
In 1921, Albert C. Bean, Sr. made a discovery that marked Tnemec's beginning. He discovered that the alkalinity of cement inhibited rust on reinforcing bars. Through his investigation, he used this information to patent revolutionary coating formulas. Tnemec Series 180/181 coatings are used as self-priming coatings on concrete, brick, stucco, and lightweight block. They are also formulated to resist mildew growth on the paint film. Available in smooth and sand-textured finishes, these coatings protect surfaces against weather, driving rain, industrial fumes, and alternate freezing and thawing.

Handicapped Ramp/Access
Handicapped Access
Providing handicapped access to elevators is important and required per The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Identifying and marking these areas is critical to your clients and building management. Highlighting ramps and access aisles helps promote security and safety for all those with handicapped needs. Tech Painting can help. We have the expertise and experience to help you satisfy ADA requirements.

We hope to see everyone at the National Parking Association's Annual Convention/Expo at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland. During the week of Oct 12-15, Tech Painting Company will be at booth #226 to answer any questions you may have. Don't have any questions? Then please just stop by and say hello to our team.

Sincerely,

Ed Easton
