Alexandria Home Gets a Major Makeover
 This stately home in the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Alexandria was the object of nearly five weeks' worth of work. The exterior job included replacing the two balcony railings. We used wood-reinforced PVC railings and pickets to replace the existing rotted railings and pickets. Careful scraping and sanding provided a sound surface for a beautiful paint job. The interior job involved removing layers of painted-over grasscloth wall covering. The walls then received careful attention to repair the myriad of cracks. We then covered the walls with Texturglas fiberglass wall mat, and finished the walls with a fine eggshell finish paint. |
