Job of the Month: Entrance Appeal for PMI

The first impression most customer get of your building is your garage entrance. PMI needed a new, clean look at 1325 G Street, NW, Washington, DC.  So they called Tech Painting.  The winter's wear and tear had taken its toll so we repainted walkways, walls, elevator doors, guard rails, attendant booth and curbs.  Customers now see a neat and well-illuminated entrance that ensures peace of mind and building management is thrilled.

Columns: Wayfinding Help

One easy way to make your garage user-friendly is to view your garage from a newcomer's perspective. Identify what areas are seen by the parking customer and ensure these areas are well marked with professional graphics.  Columns are the most common location for graphics, so applying  a well designed graphic on the columns can be very helpful and reassuring to your parking clients. Select bold colors, large type faces, and ensure the columns are marked at eye level as one drives into a garage (48" to 60").

Tech Painting Reaches Out

In times of trouble, everyone needs somewhere to turn.  For at-risk youth in Alexandria, that is the Alexandria Seaport Foundation, and the person in their corner is Joe Youcha.  In 1992, Joe joined the ASF and launched a community boat-building program that falls between boot camp and boat camp.  The participants in this four-month program are called apprentices.  Most have left school and won't make it to the 12th grade.  In addition to learning marketable trade skills, they are being tutored in math, history, reading and writing.  Tech Painting helps by offering employment to these apprentices after their graduation.  Currently we have two graduates working successfully at Tech Painting, realizing they still have a chance at the "American Dream"
I want to thank everyone for their continued support.

Sincerely,

Tech Painting Company, Inc.
