Tech Gets Smart at Sherwin Williams
Our staff was recently invited as Sherwin Williams' guest for a private tour of the Sherwin Williams/Duron Paint manufacturing plant in Beltsville, MD. We saw first-hand the extremely large vats of latex paint being mixed, canned, labeled, and then stacked by their new robot, "Robbie." The Beltsville plant produces 13,000,000 gallons of paint annually, and distributes it from Virginia all the way up to Maine. Not only do they have a "Smart" approach to a safe working environment, they are also green conscious. Recycling bins are set up throughout the plant for paper and plastic, and they are one of the first plants to recycle the 5-gallon plastic buckets, keeping them out of the landfill.

Volunteer Alexandria Volunteer Alexandria's mission is to build a better community by inspiring and mobilizing people to volunteer. They are committed to helping you find
your own way to help in the community, and we invite you to explore
the many ways that you can contribute your time when money is tight. They recently moved to a new location in Old Town, and we donated our time and materials to paint their new offices.
"Thank you to the Potomac Paint & Design Company and Tech Painting
Company for their generous donations of paint and volunteer time in
helping us prepare for the move."

Want to keep out prying eyes? Or possibly hide office renovations from street or even hallway traffic? Glass Mask is a
water-based, non-toxic, paint-like product that rolls on and peels
off windows. It's the perfect solution for a quick fix to block out windows and improve curb appeal. It comes in black, white, green, blue, and clear (that
looks frosted). We recently used it on the lower portion of our shop windows and loved the results.
