 This year was an extremely good year for SEMTech Solutions. We sold a record number of reconditioned SEMs (PDF). In addition, we recently upgraded our Field Emission Gun room to accomdate the new growth in our FE-SEM business.

 SEMTech Solutions had a breakthrough year with our Japanese partner, Elionix. Elionix manufactures Electron Beam Lithography (EBL) systems and Electron Beam Roughness Analyzing Microscopes (e-RAM). In 2007, SEMTech Solutions installed EBL systems at Harvard, Duke, and UPenn.  Many customers have expressed interest in liquid nitrogen free (Silicon Drift) detector technology. This technology will be available for demonstration in our customer demonstration lab in January 2008.
