Les Connections Announces
Launch of New Website
Alexandria, VA - May 29, 2008
Nine months after initially going live with a self-developed website, Les Connections has upgraded its look and is roaring out of the gate. The concept for this professional, social and recreational networking site for lesbians, et al., is the same, but both the look and functionality are much improved. We also have a new logo, which we believe is more reflective of the community we serve. Check us out today at LesConnections.com.

LesConnections.com is owned by a Limited Liability Company called Les Connections, LLC. In addition to promoting professional, social and recreational networking for lesbians, et al., (inclusive of women who love and respect women), we promote lesbian-owned businesses and encourage keeping it in our community where possible.

Where We Are Going From Here
We've focused on the MD, DC and VA area so far, but have expanded to the Mid-Atlantic region and are now looking beyond that. Our long-term vision is a connected lesbian community supporting each other across the nation and around the world.
We'll work towards that vision by connecting with lesbians and other supporters in various locations. We envision these "associates" will represent their location as the voice of Les Connections. The associates will ensure we are informed about what's happening in their part of the country/world, and will help us stay connected with their community.
We also intend to promote a type of concierge program whereby we have lesbians in various parts of the country/world who are willing to be contacted for information/advice on where to go, what to do in their area. We already have some willing folks in Holland, have an expert on New Zealand, and are talking to others around the USA.
Think the bottom line though is that we will go where you need us to go. We don't presume to know everything our community needs or wants but we do promise to listen and respond appropriately. We hope you'll continue to give us feedback so we can be sure to head in the right direction. |
