In March we announced the launch of our new Policy Administration and Account Billing system, with the first conversion phase involving new Massachusetts commercial auto policies effective May 1, 2012, followed by renewal policies effective June 1, 2012. We are excited to now begin the next phase of our policy conversion. Additional States: For the states of New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, commercial auto policies will be issued and billed from the new system beginning with new policies effective September 1, 2012, followed by renewal policies effective October 1, 2012. Policy and Billing Number Changes: As with all phases, renewal customers will be assigned a new policy number and billing account number. Arbella will send a letter to renewal customers with their renewal bill explaining the significance of the billing account number, which is attached for your review. Billing Fee Changes: A standard $8 billing account fee will be charged in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut for customers who opt for an installment plan. The fee in New Hampshire has not changed. Billing Plan Changes: Arbella's Automated Payment Plan is now available for commercial auto policies upon renewal. By enrolling, customers can avoid paying billing account fees. Click here to learn more about Arbella's Automated Payment Plan. Arbella Connect Changes: Driver information for all auto policies will begin to display on Arbella Connect. In addition, policy documents will be available for online viewing for New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Rhode Island auto policies. We have taken great care to ensure that the migration to these new systems is as transparent as possible for you and your customers. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. We will continue to keep you informed as we convert additional lines of business. |
