NEW ADDITION TO THE SYMMETRY TEAM

I was on the prowl for a new sales person. I hunted the normal hot spots for a Professional Salesperson, but my bag remained empty. I was walking in the woods somewhere in Western Wisconsin. At first, I thought I heard some sort of grunt or was it a trophy Buck. I was totally unsure, until I looked up and spotted Brian Shriver sitting in his deer stand hitting me with his grunt call. We struck up a conversation and he decided to join our first class sales team at Symmetry Solutions. Brian comes to us with a long legacy of professional sales engagements. Brian worked at Intercim a MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) Software Company. SolidWorks parent company Dassault Systems recently purchased a share of the Intercim business. So, Brian comes with a strong Manufacturing and Software background. We are pleased to introduce Brian Shriver.

"S" is for Speed

In SolidWorks, the "S" key is assigned to the shortcut bar. The shortcut bar is a very handy set of icons that can drastically speed up modeling. When the "S" key is pressed the shortcut bar appears at the mouse pointer, giving you the commands you need where you need them.
