:)
Hello

Happy Spring!

Let's celebrate the return of wamth!  THIS SAT. April 2, in Oakland, CA, catch the Carnaval Jump-Up energy with Grasshopper and the FunkTyme Playahs at Shashamane Ethiopian Club, details below.

(This is a World Dance party, y'all.)   Make it a Rhythm Weekend and catch the African fusion band Karamo Live (featuring talented percussionist Ben Isaacs) on Friday, Apr. 1 at the Bollyhood Cafe in S.F.

Don't live in the Bay Area, CA?

No problem - let ME come to YOU!

I've got my World Rhythm's Suitcase packed and I'm ready to bring the power of world percussion to YOUR rhythm community.

Two Questions:

1)  Do you have a community of drummers ready to learn world rhythms?

2)  Do you have a space to accommodate 10-30 students?

THAT'S ALL YOU NEED!

Have Beats, Will Travel  I'll come to YOUR location and teach 1, 2, 3 or 4-day workshops to YOUR rhythm community.  Learn complete arrangements of traditional and contemporary material from Brazil, Havana, Trinidad, Nigeria, Guinee, Brooklyn and Oakland!

More details below.

My first stop will be  April 22-24 at the Seattle World Rhythm Festival.  Over 100 performances and world rhythm workshops FOR FREE!!!  I'll be teaching a Samba FUNK session on Sat. Apr. 23 and a CAXIXI session on Sun. Apr. 24.  Hope to see you there.
