HI FRIENDS:

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your kind words in response to my marriage proposal to Tia.  I received literally HUNDREDS of email congrats, and I was very touched.

I am so blessed to do what I love and connect with so many wonderful people across the globe.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

I'd like to share a little more about myself:  Did you know that I am the YOUNGEST of ELEVEN CHILDREN?!  Yes, Marge and Bill Wallace from Pittsburgh, PA were devout Catholics and followed their faith's no-birth-control mandate....up to a point.  After my brother John was born (one year older than I, and their 10th child), my parents went to their parish priest and told him that they felt they had fulfilled their religious duty and were satisfied with 10 children.

His response (I'm paraphrasing here):
"No Way! The rules are the rules!"

So I was born.
After I arrived, they didn't go back to the priest to ask for permission.....!

Below you'll find a photo of the WALLACE CLAN - myself, my siblings, their spouses and children, we are SIXTY TWO STRONG, and counting....
(This explains why I enjoy being around people so much.)

Let's get together!
I'm hosting outstanding CHEKERE MAKER Stan "Cachimbo" Corpus for a Chekere Making and Playing Workshop on Sat. Oct. 30 from 1-5pm (and beyond).  All details below.

I've also included links and info. for the Hawaii Salsa Festival 2011
organized by a good friend and the San Francisco African Dance & Drum Festival Nov. 10-14, 2010.

Finally, I'd like to share a OUTSTANDING COMMERCIAL-FREE ONLINE WORLD MUSIC RADIO STATION link with you....

My very good friend and fabulous salsa dancer Mr. Dakin Ferris is the Co-Director and Event Manager for the
HAWAII SALSA FESTIVAL 2011

Based on Dakin's participation, I am certain the vibes will be nice, and the emphasis will be on DANCE DANCE DANCE!

Dakin has added a special "BACHATA" section to the festival, and Jimmy Bosch is also on the bill, so LOOK OUT!
