Every week of BOOM! incorporates different applications of rhythm: hand drums, agogo bells, DANCE, caxixi, meditation....

Week 3: Stretch, DANCE of the Diaspora: Africa, Brazil, USA
Week 4: Stretch, Drum Choreography and Meditation
Week 5: Stretch, Drum/Dance Choreography, Agogo Bells, Release
Week 6: Stretch, Drum/Dance Showcase, Release
At the end of BOOM! you will have gained a much deeper insight into
world rhythms and syncopation, toned and tightened your body, made a
renewed commitment to your dreams, met new friends and elevated your
lifeforce (or "axe").

Friend and fellow percussionist Kelly Tacuma Orphan has put together two very exciting shows featuring musicians live and direct from Zimbabwe:
Musekiwa Chingodza (mbira, percussion & vocals)
Ronnie Dalyio (mbira, percussion & dance),
Julia Tsitsi Chigamba (vocals, percussion & dance)
Zivanai Masango (guitar & vocals).
Also on the bill is the KTO Project, a a dynamic, danceable world music ensemble.
