SPRING VALLEY LAKE ASSOCIATION HELPS YOU PREPARE!
As we watch the devastation unfold from the catastrophic 8.9 earthquake off the coast of Japan; followed by a powerful tsunami; it reminds us that we live in an area prone to earthquakes. Are you prepared? Do you have supplies to sustain you and your family for up to seven days? The Spring Valley Lake Association is taking a pro-active approach in helping you prepare for the unthinkable. In addition to our Disaster Preparedness Task Force, we are in the final stages of building our own CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) program. This is in partnership with the San Bernardino County Fire/Office of Emergency Services.
We have C.R.A.P (community readiness and preparedness) Buckets available at the association office for $15 each. The buckets are food grade storage quality, and include a FEMA how to prepare booklet.
Visit www.fema.gov for more information.
