Please mark your calendars and save the morning of August 28, 2010, for the SVLA Semi-Annual Membership Meeting. Although the  meeting will start at 10:00 a.m.,  SVLA members are invited to arrive early at the Community Building and have the opportunity to review the budget information. What does that mean to you? This is the meeting when the Budget Committee presents their recommendation to the Board of Directors. YOU, the members of the Association, have the opportunity to have your voices heard by those who are in the position to make the final decisions for how your dues are spent. Those in attendance will be able to review the proposed budget. Don't sit back! Become an active part of the budget process. Come hear the proposed budget, make your input known, and get a greater understanding of where your dues are earmarked for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Please take time out of your busy schedule and take an interest in our community by attending this important meeting.
