Communication is the Key

NEW Communications Committee

We are looking for you to help us create new and interactive ways to communicate with all SVL Residents.

Living in Spring Valley Lake Association we have constant activities going on, from committee and board meetings to recreational classes and fun-filled events.

Also, living in a Homeowner's Association comes with rules and regulations; therefore, we are here to help inform and communicate useful information to the residents.

This committee focuses on our Breeze magazine, the SVL website, the E Breeze and our newest publication Shootin' the Breeze.

We invite you to come by and check out a meeting. The committee meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 2:00p.m. at the Community Building, CB4. Our next available meeting will be held on April 28, 2010.

If you would like more information, please contact the Association office at 760-245-9756.

Are you a renter within Spring Valley Lake?

Welcome to the Spring Valley Lake Association Community. Spring Valley Lake is a not-for-profit corporation owned by the property owners (members) which operates in accordance with a variety of Governing Documents (CC&Rs, Bylaws, Architectural Manual, Rules and State Law). Each property owner, (houses, empty lots, patio homes, condominiums, retailers) pays a yearly sum in the form of assessments. The Association is responsible to maintain the common areas (Lake, beach, parks, fishing areas, community buildings, and equestrian facilities), enhance property values by enforcing the rules and regulations and to provide Public Safety patrols.

The Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by majority vote of the members, and managed by a professional General Manager who is responsible for the day to day management and long-term operations of the community. Protecting property values is the primary focus of the Association Rules and Regulations and it is very important for everyone, including renters, to uphold the Community Standards.

If your landlord or management company has not provided the Governing Documents to you, please stop into the Association Office or visit our website at www.svla.com for copies. As set forth in the Bylaws, renters are not considered members and are not entitled to use any of the Association Facilities - Lake, beaches, parks, recreational classes, fishing areas, Etc.

Renters may and are encouraged to join the Association as Associate Members by completing the tenant application process and paying the membership dues. When you become an Associate Member, you will receive membership cards, guest passes and the privilege to enjoy everything that Spring Valley Lake has to offer.
