Board Notes
 Spring Valley Lake Association Needs YouThe annual election for the Board of Directors is just around the corner. Property owners will have the opportunity to elect four (4) directors to serve a two (2) year term. Your Board of Directors is the governing body of the Association and is responsible for setting policies, standards and programs. They approve the annual budget and set the rate of the Association's yearly assessments. The seats up for election are currently held by Ken Bodle, Kirt Mahlum, Ernie Martell and Jeff Morgan.
Any property owner, in good standing, who would like to "throw their hats in the ring" are invited to complete the Notice of Intent to Run form and return it to the Association Office at 13325 Spring Valley Parkway or SVL Box 7001, Spring Valley Lake, CA 92395, along with a resume of qualifications, goals and objectives. Deadline for filing is 4 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2010. The form can also be found online at www.svla.com under THE BOARD. Click on the Election 2010 tab. |
ASSOCIATION BUSINESS NEWS
In 2010, with the exception of January, the Association office will be open the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. In February, we will be open on Saturday, February 6th and 20th.

The 2nd quarter assessment billing statements will be mailed out in January. The 2nd quarter assessment payment of $232.25 will be due on February 1, 2010. Any payments received after February 15 will be considered late.

The SVLA office will no longer accept Cash payments over $5.00. If you will be making a payment of any kind in the office, please plan to
pay by Check or Money Order.
