Breathe, 5 deep breaths!!!!!
2009 is here and I am feeling surprisingly calm. I have had a little peace of mind after spending time with friends and family!

My New Years Resolutions: more yoga, get to belly dance class every week, and partake in Shannon's nutrition classes.  These are goals that will help keep my mind clear so that I feel healthier for myself and for my family.

Easton Yoga turns 8 this year! We would like to invite you and your family to our anniversary party on January 30th from 6-8pm. Details below & or RSVP on the website!

As a final note, 2009 will bring several teachers that have greatly influenced my understanding and practice of yoga : Max Strom & Ellen Pfeffer! Mantra Monday...Yes, THIS Monday
         don't miss it!
Manifest The Fulfillment Of Your Desires For the New Year

_____________________________________________________

Mantra MudraPetition the Great Consciousness to fulfill your individual desires. Every desire is tied to our consciousness. The mantras we will learn this evening attract the elements of the universal consciousness that fulfill desires strongly held by the mind.

Mantras are taught with call and response and continual repetition. Once you have learned the mantra,  come sing along each Wednesday evening in Kathleen's Meditative Yoga Flow class, at 6:30pm-8pm, where we will continue to recite the mantra throughout the Month of January.

What is your deepest desire?

Manta class is 1 class card swipe or $15 to drop in
[register in advance if you'd like]

No yoga or singing/chanting experienced required.

poppies This series is $140. To attend an individual class, it is $25.
SEE FULL LISTING OF WORKSHOPS HERE!

Do you dread the New Year and the ritual of setting goals for the upcoming year? Have you tried to achieve New Years resolutions in years past, and have somehow, someway detoured away from your goals? Let's create a plan for you that will work. This is a 7-week series that will help you to achieve your health and lifestyle goals. It will provide you with the structure you need and the accountability as well.

In our initial class, you will evaluate the different realms of your life (home environment, health, career, creativity, finances, social life, to name a few) and you will learn how to structure goals for the particular areas that most need your attention. In each following class, you will learn specific strategies to adapt to a holistic diet and lifestyle. You will also have time to discuss progress and obstacles to meeting your specific goals.

Each student who signs up for the series will receive a journal to track their own nutrition and goals.

Classes meet every Tuesday night at Easton Yoga from 6:00 PM- 7:30 PM from January 13 until February 24.

If you missed Shannon's Introduction to Holistic Nutrition Class in the fall we'll be sharing it again on January 6th, 6-7:30pm, $20, registration and details here.

yogacoupleEaston Yoga will be 8 years old!
Let's Celebrate....
January 31, 2009    6pm-9pm

RSVP online here!

Once upon a time, 8 years ago, my right shoulder was a wreck, and my massage therapist recommended I take some yoga classes he was starting here in Easton. As luck would have it, I was supposed to drive to Boston to stay the week with a friend, but my car broke down before I could get out of town...so off to a yoga class I went instead!

And the rest is history, Michael Lear planted a seed here in our building, from that seed grew a great love for yoga, for my future husband Rob Wozniak, and my future profession as a yoga teacher!

Namaste! From just 3 classes per week and 1 teacher, we have grown to be the host to over 20 yoga classes with over 8 teachers.  Plus 6 belly dance classes, 4 Pilates classes, hooping class and Nutritional Seminars, and special Yoga Seminars with some of the best yoga teachers in the country! WOWeee!

Come celebrate as we all gather and share in a communal pot luck dinner on January 31st!
  • 6:15 sharp! Group Om for 8 minutes
  • 6:23 Pot-Luck Dinner (light appetizer and desserts provided by Easton Yoga)
  • 7:15-8pm More feasting and Dancing!
  • Please RSVP to this free event!

Open to All! Open to students of Easton Yoga, & the Community!
Family Friendly: there will be a children's activity table!

What is Great about the number 8:
  • The eighth chakra, our aura, represents the working balance of all the chakras.  When energy is flowing freely throughout these centers, our aura expands and we heal, uplift and inspire by our very presence. When the aura is strong, we are also more apt to be in the right place at the right time and attract positive people and opportunities.
  • The number 8 is similar to the symbol of infinity which is unbounded space, time, or quantity; having no end.

We will celebrate the weekend of Jan 30-Feb 1st with a special Gift of a silver Om bracelet in the chakra color of your choice with all purchases over $28 from our yoga store!
