Finding Skilled Talent

Despite high unemployment, skilled professionals are the most difficult workers to find. According to the SHRM Jobs Outlook Survey (Society of Human Resources Manager, 4th Quarter 2011), 75 percent of respondents reported that finding skilled talent was their most difficult challenge. Continue

Demand Up for Mobile Marketers

Employers posted 4,400 online job ads for marketing professionals that included mobile skill requirements over the last one-and-a-half months, a 16 percent increase compared with the same period last year, Wanted Analytics, a firm that tracks online job ads, reported earlier this week. The number of such job ads were up 120 percent compared with the same period two years ago. New York City and Seattle were the top two metropolitan areas with the most job ads for marketers with mobile experience. San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Jose, Calif., rounded out the top five.
