Greetings!

A recent encounter with a creature on our land uncovered some of Bob's fears.  In the article below he rationalizes a perspective that may be helpful to you as you confront your own.

Next week Peggy and her colleague Leslie Jose host another Reiki workshop.  There are still two openings. If you are interested, click here for more details.

Finally, we remind you to visit the Sacred Lead Blog The posts are brief, and we publish it more frequently than The View.

Yours in new beginnings,
Peggy and Bob MacArthur

The woodchucks visited Peggy's garden one too many times this summer for her patience, and so we set a Havahart trap outside one of the known holes. Four days went by. Nothing, even though I added some bait each day that I thought was irresistible.

Surprise

Well, it was. On the fifth morning we looked out to see that something was indeed in the trap. However, it turned out to be black with white stripes, and it was not very happy. OMG. Now, I was not very happy either, since it would be up to me to deal with the situation. I was pretty sure I could handle transporting and releasing a woodchuck, but a skunk? After all, we have not seen a skunk in the six years we have lived here.
