Join MSP in "America's Giving Challenge"

My Sisters' Place has a chance to win a gift of up to $50,000, but we can't do it without your help!

We are mobilizing around America's Giving Challenge, an online giving competition in conjunction
with Parade Magazine.

From now until November 6, 2009, we need the highest number of individual donors, contributing $10 or more, through our Causes site.  The agency that has the highest number of donations will win $50,000 and daily winners receive an additional $1,000.

Please help us in this campaign by donating daily and encouraging others to do the same!

My Sisters' Place Commemorates Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and MSP has been very busy.  So far, we have:
  • participated in the City of Yonkers' annual DV Awareness Vigil which launched the month's calendar of activities;
  • participated in Take Back the Night;
  • hosted our annual Love Shouldn't Hurt Conference for Westchester County teens and school administrators;
  • hosted several trainings on domestic violence and related topics;
  • launched our public service announcement campaign in partnership with LexisNexis.  Look for our posters on and in Bee Line buses and on MetroNorth trains and platforms
