Remember to join us for our Free Film Screening Event! It takes place this Saturday, October 6, in Houston during our annual TEXAS GO VEGAN WEEK! We're renting an entire theater hall at University of St.Thomas to present a free screening of "Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home"!  

This award-winning 3rd edition film from Tribe of Heart features honest interviews and rare footage demonstrating the emotional lives and intense family bonds of animals most often viewed as living commodities. See the film trailer here. There will also be a short panel discussion after the film.   

We welcome the general public to this very special Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. event in honor of World Farm Animals Day and TEXAS GO VEGAN WEEK! Join us after the film discussion for our Vegan Bake Sale Fundraiser and Reception in the lobby. Please support this free film screening and our year-round outreach efforts by purchasing delicious vegan baked goods, VSOP T-shirts, vegan books and other fundraising items. Free vegan starter guides and abolitionist animal rights literature will be available at our outreach table.  

Seating is on a first come basis. Kindly RSVP online so we can plan accordingly for refreshments. Please note that plenty of parking is available for a small fee in the University of St. Thomas Moran Parking Garage, located one block away from theater at W. Alabama & Graustark streets. The $2 parking fee is paid upon exit, but must be in cash or coin. Metro Bus Route #78 also services the campus.
