Greetings!
Our 2nd Annual VegFest Houston is just days away! We are very excited to present the largest annual vegan celebration in Houston this Saturday, June 9, 2012! There's quite a buzz about it online this year, too! VegFest Houston is a vegan community event for all ages, run entirely by volunteers! The festival runs from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Admission is free and open to the public. Carpooling or riding the Metro Bus to the festival is encouraged.Features of our annual festival include: superb vegan restaurants, exciting guest speakers, live music from local musicians, 'Kids Zone' and crafts, food and yoga demos, vegan vendors and services, free product samples, educational films, like-minded community booths and green businesses, plus hourly prize giveaways. Each festival entrant is also given one door prize ticket . Everything you need to know about VegFest Houston 2012 can be found on our official festival website. The festival is larger this year and covers more space with nearly 50 booths! You'll find directions, parking information, hotel discounts, speaker and musician bios, links to sponsors and gift donors, the festival schedule, venue map and more online! We also have a brand new design for our VegFest Houston shirts this year, so be sure to visit our fundraising booth for lots of great goodies and souvenir logo wear. Free VegFest pens will be available at our Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. outreach booth in Area "A". Plus, we'll have eco-friendly festival tote bags and collectible festival program booklets while they last! Our annual festival would not be possible without our many dedicated committee members and volunteers! They have worked hard for nearly a year to produce the high quality festival you expect from Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. We also greatly appreciate the many sponsors, gift donors and community partners who support our 2nd Annual VegFest Houston!
We look forward to seeing you at the most amazing and diverse 2nd annual vegan festival in Texas! Don't miss the excitement this Saturday, June 9, 2012! For a compassionate world, Kristen Lee Ohanyan President & Co-founder
