We are so excited as we approach the 8-year Anniversary of our organization! Just a friendly reminder to join us for our anniversary party this week to celebrate our eight GREAT years! The event will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. We'll be celebrating alongside the annual Meatout campaign!  

This year, we're hosting an all-you-can-eat vegan buffet dinner at Pepper Tree Veggie Cuisine in Houston, Texas. RSVP is required, as seating is limited and we are offering special buffet prices for this event.  

We'll have door prizes donated by Pepper Tree Veggie Cuisine!  There will also be plenty of free Veg Starter Guides and literature on animal rights, plus coupons for from Gardein.  

At the party, founder Kristen Lee Ohanyan will give a short talk about the history of our organization and our future goals. There will also be a Vegan Anniversary Cake from Sweet Stories!

The event kicks off our spring fundraising! Our goal is to raise $8,000 this Spring for VegFest Houston and our ongoing projects!   

Anniversary donation gifts are optional, but so greatly appreciated! We'll have a large gift box at the party for donations. Donations can also be made year-round through our website or by mail. All donations are tax-deductible.    

Thank you for sharing our vision and supporting our organization over the past eight years. Our hard-working, dedicated volunteers and members have helped us accomplish so much for the animals, people and the earth! It is an honor to be part of such an amazing organization.
