Celebrate the Meatout 2012 Campaign
this Saturday at our event!
 Join us this weekend for our monthly event, featuring a free Vegan Cooking Demo in honor of
Meatout 2012!

Greetings!
Every March events are held worldwide in support of the Global Meatout Campaign. One of our Meatout events will be held in conjunction with our "2nd Saturdays" monthly vegan potluck at the Havens Center this Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
In honor of Meatout 2012, we will feature a free Ayurvedic Vegan Cooking Demonstration this Saturday from PCRM-trained chef Karuna Diedericks. Watch Karuna prepare easy-to-make vegan foods and then sample her delicious cuisine during the potluck. VSOP volunteer Bernadette Session will have some of her favorite vegan cookbooks onsite while she prepares free samples from Upton's Naturals.  In addition, we'll have a short film about the history of the Global Meatout Campaign with several well-known personalities.
Please remember to bring a vegan entree, side dish or dessert to share at the potluck! Our events are always vegan, so please only vegan or raw vegan foods (no animal-derived ingredients). If you have questions on ingredients, feel free to contact us. Help us also keep our events earth-friendly and our costs down by bringing your own reusable dinnerware, plates & cups.
Our friendly monthly gatherings are a great way to meet up with Vegan Society of PEACE! Every month is something new and we highlight several topics, such as animal rights, vegan health, world hunger solutions, eco-friendly living and more. Attendees will also learn about upcoming VSOP events like our 8-year Anniversary Celebration, along with our outreach and volunteer opportunities. All ages and newcomers are welcome at our "2nd Saturdays" vegan events!
