Greetings!
We cordially invite you to attend our winter holiday season event! Our "Celebrate PEACE, Live Vegan" Dinner Party will be held at Loving Hut Vegan Restaurant in Houston on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 5:00 PM.  Join us for a festive, social dinner to celebrate "PEACE" -- the peace that we want for ALL sentient beings, peace that can only be achieved by living vegan. In addition to great vegan food and jazzy music, we'll feature an inspiring new short film on the reasons to live vegan. We'll also have a toast of So Delicious Coconut Nog to celebrate another great year for Vegan Society of PEACE and our amazingly successful first-ever VegFest Houston.  We welcome all ages and newcomers! Attendees can purchase their own vegan meal and/or dessert from Loving Hut's 100% vegan menu. There will be plenty of free vegan starter guides and product coupons from So Delicious, Earth Balance, Tofurky and Lightlife. Plus, we'll have a variety of 5 styles of VSOP t-shirts available as a fundraiser. Attendees will hear about our new Vegan Society of PEACE "2nd Saturdays" monthly vegan events -- new for 2012 -- as well as VegFest Houston 2012. See our event flyer below for complete details. Vegan Society of PEACE (People for the Earth, Animals, Compassion and Enlightenment) is a grassroots, 501(c)(3) nonprofit community organization which educates the public on ethical vegan living, animal rights advocacy, environmental responsibility, plant-based nutrition, world hunger solutions, peace and nonviolence. We are dedicated to promoting PEACE and compassion for all living beings through education, outreach and advocacy. 
Our headquarters is in Houston, Texas, and our membership base is now global. Since our debut in 2004, we continue to be 100% volunteer-run and rely on the support and generosity of our members and volunteers.
