Greetings!

We're excited to announce our upcoming vegan dinner and documentary film screening!  Join us this Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 6:00 PM, as we kick-off our "Texas Go Vegan Week" celebration and Vegetarian Awareness Month!

The event will take place at Radical Eats Vegan Cafe in Houston, Texas, and will feature a free screening of The Emotional World of Farm Animals. In the film, bestselling author Jeffrey Masson takes viewers of all ages on a journey into to the sentient, emotional lives of farm animals. You won't want to miss this inspiring documentary!

RSVP is requested for seating. Our Houston event is free and open to the public. We really encourage newcomers and those who are veg-curious to come and see this important film! Attendees can purchase their own delicious vegan dinner from the menu. Please see complete details on our flyer below.

We're also hosting this documentary screening in honor of

Baby Chick
Please, Go Vegan!

World Farm Animals Day.

Over 58 billion animals are killed in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses to produce meat, eggs, and dairy. World Farm Animals Day is dedicated to exposing the needless suffering and death of cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, and other innocent, sentient animals raised and slaughtered for food. Outreach events are being held this weekend worldwide.

Other special events are taking place during Vegetarian Awareness Month, which will be listed on our events calendar. Please be sure to also visit our "Texas Go Vegan Week" web page for special offers from vegan vendors during the 1st week of October.

Hope to see you at our kick-off event this Saturday!
