Greetings!
You are cordially invited to join us for the Vegan Society of PEACE Annual "Gentle Thanksgiving" Celebration on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 5:30 PM. We've reserved Pecore Hall in Houston again this year to accommodate the large number of attendees. All ages are welcome and this event is open to the public! Our event will feature a gourmet vegan feast, catered by chef Staci Davis. Staci is the owner of Houston's premier vegan catering company, Radical Eats. You'll find her fantastic menu in the side column. Our delicious vegan dessert this year is Pumpkin Pie a' la mode, catered by chef Brittany Dylan Carnes of Sinfull Bakery -- Houston's most popular vegan bakery. We are excited that both chefs are members of VSOP!
We'll also have a short film presentation and a special 2010 Society of PEACE slide show ( send us your pictures!), great door prizes, Veg Starter Guides, vegan product coupons and samples for Tofurky, So Delicious, Lightlife and Parma! In addition, you'll hear about our plans to launch the 1st VegFest Houston in 2011 and other special announcements, including one of our VSOP volunteers who will soon be featured on Tofurky product boxes. Please remember that reservations are required for this catered event, so make your reservation as soon as possible! You can RSVP online through our website through November 18. Website reservations will receive an automatic email confirmation. Tickets can also be purchased in advance by using our PayPal link, or by cash or check at the door.
Pecore Hall is located at 1805 W. Alabama, Houston, TX 77098 (inside St. Stephens). For directions and parking information, click here. Additional parking will be available behind St. Stephens on Sul Ros, and in the parking lot next to the Havens Center. We look forward to seeing you at our wonderful annual celebration of compassion! Please invite your friends and family to our vegan feast! Also see our resources and links below. For a gentle and compassionate world, Kristen Lee Ohanyan President & Co-founder |
