In honor of World Farm Animals Day 2010, we are hosting a Group Trip and Volunteer Work Day at a Texas farm animal sanctuary! The trip will take place the weekend after our Annual "Texas Veggin'-out Days" Campaign, so mark your calendars in advance!

Join Vegan Society of PEACE volunteers and supporters as we travel to the veg-owned & operated Sunny Day Farms Animal Sanctuary in La Coste, Texas. On Saturday, October 9, we will take a tour of the sanctuary, volunteer at the farm and enjoy some great vegan meals. For those who wish to stay overnight, you'll have the opportunity to revisit the farm and meet for lunch at Green Vegetarian Restaurant on Sunday, October 10.
