Meatout Events taking place around the world this weekend!

Meatout events are taking place around the globe this weekend, during the world's largest grassroots diet education campaign! Be sure to check the worldwide Meatout events listing for events in your area.
 
If you're in the Houston area, please join us tonight, March 20th at 6:30 PM for our March Movie Night & Vegan Bake Sale!  The Honorable Mayor Bill White has endorsed Meatout again this year by signing a Proclamation for the City of Houston, which will be on display at our Meatout event.  In addition, Supreme Master Television will be filming a segment at our event for their worldwide Meatout events news coverage.  This promises to be a great evening!
 
Here's a sampling of veg-friendly events taking place in Houston this weekend, just in time for the annual Meatout campaign:
  • Friday, March 20: Society of PEACE Movie Night & Vegan Bake Sale
  • Saturday, March 21: The Spring, Woodlands & Magnolia Meetup "Juice-luck" featuring wellness expert John Rose
  • Saturday, March 21: Houston Food Coop Vegan BBQ 
  • Saturday, March 21: Whole Foods Market Raw Vegan Class
  • Sunday, March 22: Society of PEACE Community Service Night with Food Not Bombs to help serve veg meals to Houston's needy

The Society of P.E.A.C.E. (Peoplefor the Earth, Animals, Compassion & Enlightenment) is a grassroots community organization which focuses on animal rights advocacy and vegan outreach.  We are dedicated to promoting PEACE and Compassion for ALL living beings through education, outreach and advocacy. Our headquarters are in Houston, Texas, and our membership base is global.  We are 100% volunteer-based and rely on the support and generosity of our members.
