Pamela, also known as "Houston's Food Fairy", runs her own vegan personal chef business and enjoys teaching classes to the public.

Greetings!
We're also pleased to announce the winning entry in our "Name the Newsletter" contest. We thank everyone who entered the contest during the last quarter of 2008. It was a difficult decision with so many creative entries, but it was Stacey Halsch's "E-PEACE" that won our panel over. Congratulations to Stacey, who will be receiving a VegNews prize pack!
We have a great year ahead with our annual outreach campaigns, special events and workshops. As our organization continues to grow, we'll need more volunteers to help with these activities, as well as with fundraising, activist letter-writing and tabling. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know!
