Greetings!
This month, we are hosting some great events featuring Dr. Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet. He will be making several stops throughout Texas in December and will continue his book tour in Florida in early 2009. You won't want to miss the opportunity to hear Dr. Tuttle speak about the connections between our diets, animal compassion and world peace.
There are many additional events taking place in Houston during this final month of 2008 and we'll be announcing some exciting Society of PEACE events in the new year. Be sure to check out the events section below for more information. We also have several informative news stories and action alerts, as well as a double vegan recipe section in this issue!
Our organization continues to grow each and every year and we thank you for your support! If you are interested in volunteering and helping with our ongoing outreach or events, please let us know!
